Environmental Education

At the Pacific Spirit Park Society, we believe that education is the foundation of conservation. Our programs are designed to inspire curiosity, foster a deeper understanding of the natural world, and empower individuals of all ages to become active stewards of the environment.

Whether you’re a student, educator, family, or community member, our hands-on educational experiences cater to a wide range of interests and learning styles. From guided nature walks and interactive workshops to specialized programs for schools and community groups, we provide meaningful ways to engage with the unique ecosystems of Pacific Spirit Regional Park.

Our Environmental Education programs not only teach valuable knowledge about local flora, fauna, and ecological processes but also encourage a lifelong appreciation for nature. Join us in exploring the wonders of the park and discovering how each of us can play a role in preserving it for future generations.

EcoKITS Program

Our EcoKITS program is designed to bring the wonders of Pacific Spirit Regional Park into classrooms across the Vancouver School District. Tailored for K-7 students, these interpretive learning kits provide hands-on educational materials that teachers can rent to enhance their lessons. We are seeking passionate educators interested in developing and updating these kits to ensure they remain engaging and informative. Volunteers will play a crucial role in expanding our collection and creating new resources.
